My name is Troy Harris and I am a successful Property Developer and Business Owner.

It was not always this way.  Believe it or not I was a High School Dropout who could not settle in a job or a career.  I finally realised I just wasn’t cut out to be an employee. Even my wife realised and bought me a book.  It was called ‘How to Start Your Own Small Business” The entrepreneur in me was brought out and I opened a toy store called Toy Island.  While I loved the shop, which won some great awards, I threw everything I had into it but it was still a job and required me to work an exhausting 7 days a week. 
There had to be more. 

I spoke often to my mentor and friend a very successful property developer and he helped me start out in property investing.

I tried the strategy Buy-Renovate-Sell and had some mixed results.  But mostly I realised I was still not gaining back my time.  I wanted my time back. 

Then D-Day came - the day I realised I need to take action towards my goals and I knew that property developing was the way to do it.  From that day forward I learnt from my mentor how to make my property developing work for me and I asked questions, looked for answers and paid to be educated in property developing.

I started off in a small investment.  The purchase price was only $133,000 and I was only expecting $37,000 in profit.  Before I had sold my first property development I had confidence that I knew what I was doing and repeated the process very quickly adding another 3 proprties within 12 months.

I have now completed and sold 15 new homes, sold 4 existing homes and had the enjoy of demolishing a home.
 
Now look at me – only 3 years later and I have created projects worth more than $7.7million.  My latest project is going to bring in almost $300,000 profit.

 

I now teach what I know to other Rookie Developers as I remember how hard it was to buy my first property development deal.  I still drive past many opportunities I past up as I did not know what I know now.
